how can we help?
step-by-step guides for getting the most out of Vernettic. can’t find it? email privacy@vernettic.com.
getting started
set up Vernettic and ship your first post.
connections
connect github and the platforms you post to.
Connecting your GitHub repository
Link the repo you want to watch. Vernettic adds a push webhook and receives commit metadata only.
Choosing which branches become posts
Keep secret or work-in-progress branches private and only publish from your public branches.
Connecting LinkedIn
Auto-post to your personal LinkedIn feed. Vernettic only ever posts — it can’t read your network.
Connecting Bluesky
Bluesky is fully open — connect with an app password and your hashtags render as clickable tags.
posts & publishing
how posts are written, reviewed and scheduled.
Choosing your writing style
Pick a voice — Builder, Storyteller, Technical, Hype, Minimal or Company — so posts sound like you.
Choosing the language of your posts
Post in your commit’s language automatically, or always write in one fixed language — English, Spanish, French, Portuguese or German.
Review, auto-publish and how often you post
Approve posts yourself or let them publish automatically, and control how frequently they go out.
Publishing changelogs to your own site
Send published changelogs to WordPress automatically, or to any tool via an HMAC-signed webhook.
web mentions
find and act on public mentions of your product.
profile & embed
your public profile, roadmap and site widget.
account & billing
plans, data export and account control.
frequently asked
quick answers to the most common questions.
Does Vernettic read my code?
No. Vernettic receives only your commit message text and the names of changed files — never the code itself, never diffs, never file contents. This is enforced in the architecture, not just promised in a policy.
Is it really free?
Yes. The free plan covers a public profile, GitHub auto-posts, LinkedIn + Bluesky posting, weekly digest, a voteable roadmap, embeds, and 10 web mentions a week. Pro ($9/mo) lifts the limits and adds custom writing styles, a custom domain and analytics.
Which platforms can I auto-post to?
LinkedIn and Bluesky post automatically today, with Threads coming soon. Twitter/X is copy-and-paste for now, and will be free for everyone when auto-posting lands.
Can I review posts before they go out?
Yes — that’s the default. In Settings → Posting, “when to publish” lets you hold every post for review or publish automatically once your connections are live.
Can I keep private work private?
Yes. Private repos are skipped unless you explicitly opt in, and the branch filter lets you keep secret branches off your public feed entirely.
Can I cancel anytime?
Anytime, from Settings → Billing. Your Pro access runs to the end of the billing period, and you can export your data whenever you want — there’s no lock-in.
